Kendriya Vidyalaya , Kashipur is one of the best school in this area . It was established on 20th August 1983 in civil area with classes 1 to 5. In April 1998 the school was given a vast land area of 15 acre. The school is situated 6 Km from main city Kashipur, on Bazpur Road National Highway 74 . It is surrounded by greenery and very calm & peaceful atmosphere prevails all- round. It covers 15 Acre of area which is very beautifully managed & maintained by the school authorities. At present there are 3 sections each (A,B,C) from classes 1 to 10. In classes 11th and 12th there are 2 sections (Science & Humanities). At present the total number of faculty members in the school is () . The management is trying its level best to provide a congenial environment to the students. Clean and filtered water as well as hygienic sanities are available for the children.

In Kendriya Vidyalaya we not only maintains good discipline and high standard of teaching as well as provide moral values to its wards. For us "KNOWLEDGE IS THE FRONTIER OF TOMORROW" and as such we provide up to date knowledge to all our students so that they can stand and survive in this extremely competitive world where there is cut- throat competition at every turn.The School is giving brilliant and incomparable academicals records from the last many years. Not only this the school is performing equally well in the sports. The adventure corner was also developed in the Vidyalaya to tone the health and physique of the children by simple exercises because we believe that "All Day Work And No Play Make Jack A Dull Boy."

As such we try our best to make our wards best in every field. We know that there is a saying that it is bad to be "JACK OF ALL TRAITS AND MASTER OF NONE" but we lay stress and try our standard best to change the saying to - "JACK OF ALL TRAITS AND MASTER OF NONE".

Games & Sports:-

As we already said that "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy" and therefore students are given appropriate time and deserving opportunities to perform well in sports at District, State & National Level and our sportsman are coming out with bright are colours. They are not letting us down anywhere in any field. (SELECTION)

Scouts & Guides:-

The Vidyalaya has 1 unit of Scouts and 1 Guide Wing. Scouts and Guides activities are carried out as per syllabus laid in APRO. At present there are total of 26 Scouts and 32 Guides in the school campus.

Our Scouts and Guides are continuously participating in full zest in various camps and competitions held at their at level.
In the session 2008-2009 (1) Guide participated in Rajya Purashkar Camp at K.V. 1 Gwalior. (4) Scouts and (4) Guides participated in Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp at K.V. S. L. Meerut

Co Curricular activities:

The school is organizing various extra developing activities to increase the creative power as well as the creativity in them various inter classes and inter house competitions are being held in the school campus both at junior and senior level. Competitions such as display board competitions, house board competition, poem, essay writing, Hindi/English calligraphy, Debate, Group song, Group dance, and etc.are simultaneously held in school.
